Nick's Favorites

Sup?!?!?, You are a true home dawg coming to my favorites page. I know you expect quality from me (haha), and this page will not disappoint you.  You will laugh or you will cry, but we'll have fun nevertheless.

About Me

I know I've already said it, but here it is again. I'm 17 years old and a Junior at Leopold High School.  My birthday is August 5th, so I'm one of the oldest in my class.

Sports

I like to play, as well as watch, many different sports.  During my Freshman and Sophomore year, I played basketball and baseball.  This year, I am only playing baseball, since I will be working a lot more at Country Mart.  If only we had a cross country or track team, I would love it.  I also like watching sports.  I watch baseball, basketball, football, and some hockey.  I follow baseball, basketball, and football the most.  My favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees, and favorit basketball team is the Los Angeles Lakers In football, I like the Carolina Panters even though their not the best. Sometimes, I don't have time to watch all of their games, so I just check out the stats.
I also enjoy hunting.  I hunt with a bow or gun.  I have hunted for deer, turkey, squirrel, rabbit, dove, quail, coyote, fox, and even raccoons.  I like to go hunting very much.  I use to go hunting all of the time, but have not been as often as I used to.  I also like to go fishing.  I am a big fan of bass fishing.  I wish I had more time than I currently do, to do these things.

Hobbies

I like to do many things in my free time.  Although I don't have as much free time as I would like since I am so busy, I still like to do several things in my free time.  These include fishing, hunting, working (not really a hobby, just something that takes up most of my free time), driving my car, and chillin' with friends.  I've already discussed hunting and fishing, so I won't talk about them again. I also have another complete category for working so I won't talk about that either.  That just leaves friends and driving.
Let's start with driving.  I love to drive my car... Well, its not exactly my car, I just claimed it and have been driving it ever since. My mom doesn't mind that much, as long as I pay for insurance.  Anyways...I like to go for drives in my car.  I am usually the one that drives all the time when we go to Cape or anywhere else.  I don't really mind, but it is a killer on gas, but oh well.  Like I said I love to drive.  I also like to put new stuff in my car, I am especially into car audio.  I've already replaced the factory radio with a Sony Xplod and the factory speakers with Sony's as well.  I plan on putting a set of Rockford Fosgate subs in there, too, but I have to save up the money for them first.  It may take awhile working at Country Mart.
Now, on to talk about friends.  I have a lot of friends, but a few I spend more time with than others.  I'm not going to name them all because I will just make people mad, and I don't want to do that.  I spend a lot of time with someone from Benton, and we have a lot of fun.  I also spent a lot of time this summer with Justin, Matt, and Erin.  I enjoy spending time with all of my friends, but I haven't as much time to be with them as I would like.  Oh well, thats life, I guess!?!?!

Music

I am a really big fan of music. I love listening to all kinds of music.  I like Rap, Rock, Metal, Alternative, some Punk, some Classical, and even Country.  But that's just because I work at Country Mart where I hear it all day long.  :(  I also like groups much like the one featured on this and the previous page. They are one of my most favorite groups.  I have most of their CD's and even their newest one.  I never listen to the radio since I now have a CD player in my car, and that is the only place I really listen to music.  So if I don't have a CD of it, I just don't listen to it.

Country Mart

As you may already know, I work at Country Mart in Marble Hill, Missouri.  It was my first job and not a bad one at that.  I've been there since the first week of October 2001.   You start out below minimum wage for the first three months. This is your training period, even though you learn everything there is to know in the first week you start.  Then after that, you get minimum wage.  You have to work a lot, and when you first start, you will work every Friday and Saturday night.  It seems like it takes forever to get a raise.    After you've been there so long, you may get promoted to working a department.  I've been looking for a different job for a while now, but had no luck. Hopefully, my luck will change.

Cars

I used to not be into cars as much as I am now.  However, ever since I got my license, I have grown into a passion for cars. I like some old cars and also several new cars.  I like cars such as the ones in the movie The Fast and the Furious. I like all of the street cars and modified cars.  I wouldn't want to buy one already modified.  I would much rather buy a car and modify it myself. I would like one such as a Toyota Celica, a Honda Civic, a Pontiac Firebird, a Mustang Mach 1, or a Pontiac Trans-Am.  I would have to say that my favorite car to have and be able to modify would be a Pontiac Trans-Am---Black, leather interior, Nos injection system, ground effects, interior lighting, 18" rims (all chrome of course), and a bumpin' system.  That would be my dream car.

Future Plans

After I graduate high school, I plan on going on to college.  I want to be an engineer of some sort--Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineer. Something along those lines.  To get a degree in that, I have to go to a four year college or transfer from a 2 to a 4 year, but that would be too much hassle for me.  I plan on going to University of Missouri - Columbia or University of Missouri - Rolla.  I would much rather go to Columbia, because I am tired of living in a small community.  Once I graduate from college with my degree, I will probably have to move to a larger city such as Chicago or Houston, to find a job that pay as much as I would like for my degree.  I will kinda miss ole Leopold, but it's time to move on to bigger and better things in life.

Well, that's about all there is to know about me, all I can say on here anyway.  I hope you have had as much fun as I did, I know I am quite boring sometimes.  Come back soon, and make sure you tell all your friends about my wonderful site.
